The Hodnet and District Garden Club celebrated 35 years in 2014. It provides a friendly, informal venue for local gardeners of all abilities to gather, listen to speakers on a variety of subjects and participate in various club activities.
The club meets at the Lyon Hall, Hodnet at 7.30pm on the third Tuesday of the month (February to November). In June and July we visit gardens or other places of interest. The annual show, normally held in August will not be happening this year but we hope to restart this event in the near future.
All are welcome.

At our October AGM it was decided to increase the annual membership to £15 per person. The cost for anyone wishing to attend for the evening as a visitor will be £2 with light refreshments provided, so please feel free to come along and find out what we are about.
We'd like to wish all our members and visitors a very merry and peaceful Christmas, and a happy and successful New gardening Year.
The Last Meeting
Read a write up of our last meeting here. To commemorate 100 years since the signing of the Armistice, David Smither gave a talk about the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. As it was our last meeting of the year we also enjoyed a bring and share supper as an early Christmas celebration.
